Pre-Treatment Cut Thru Wipe, AkzoNobel Imperium

The AkzoNobel Imperium Pre-Treatment Cut Thru Wipes are a ready to use, pre-saturated wipe that is designed to be used on metal surfaces to prevent corrosion and promotes adhesion. The Pre-Treatment Cut Thru Wipes are designed to substitutes the use of wash primers and etch primers.

Application:

1. Before using the Pre-Treatment Cut Thru Wipe, clean the surface and surrounding area with a solvent based cleaner and a clean uncontaminated wiping cloth. Note: The surface must be contamination free and dry before applying the Pre-Treatment. 
2. Wipe the surface with the Pre-Treatment Wipe making sure the entire surface is wet using a 50-75% overlap motion. Wait no more than 1 minute and reapply a second time. Note: The Pre-Treatment Wipe will perform with one application. If the surface is soaked it can result in loss of adhesion.
3. Allow the Pre-Treatment to dry. The Pre-Treatment will dry within seconds at normal temperature conditions around 70 degrees Fahrenheit.
4. Apply next step (Primer, Sealer, Topcoat, etc.) as normal over the pre-treated surface.
