This VHT Plastic Paint can be used directly on automotive plastics without needing to apply a plastic adhesion promoter or sanding. The VHT SP822, Gloss Blue Plastic Paint is specifically for painting engine covers and can also be used on interior and exterior plastic panels. The VHT Plastic Paint is resistant to oil and will not flake, chip, or peel.
