2K Performance Clear, AkzoNobel Imperium
- Mix Ratio: 4 parts Clear to 1 part Hardener of choice
- Gun Tip Size: 1.3 - 1.5mm
- Flash Time: 5-10 mins at 70 degrees Fahrenheit
- Recommended Number of Coats: Apply 2-3 single (medium wet) coats
- Dry Time: 8-18 hours depending on Hardener selection and Temperature
The 2K Performance Clear by Imperium is a 4 to 1 polyurethane clearcoat that offers excellent application, fast dry, great gloss and good durability. It is designed to be used as spot repairs and total resprays.

Works good
I used this with the E4 vermillion red on here and it is finicky but does look good if done right. First, I used hardener that was too fast so I got orange peel. Made for a LONG time cutting and buffing. I sprayed it with the harbor freight purple gun and it flows nicely. Seems to coat well. Very durable considering my kid knocked a broom handle into the fender two days after I painted and it didn’t crack or chip. The staff here really helped me out, I emailed asking if it would work for my application and they were quick to respond. 5 stars for customer service.
