The 3M 2022, 1200 Grit, Wet or Dry Sandpaper is constructed of a silicone carbide mineral, better bonding system and more flexible backing. Provides a faster cut, longer life, more consistent finish which will reduce sanding and buffing time.
Salesman Notes: Wet sandpaper needs to be soaked in water for about 15 minutes prior to use. This helps soften the factory cut edges of the sandpaper and will reduce the chance of cutting grooves in your fresh paint finish. I recommend the use of a foam sanding block such as the following list:

3M 05530 - is a very flexible foam block
MEG E-7200 - has just the right amount of flexibility and firmness.
MGC SB-1 - has 2 sides, one is more dense for more aggressive cutting and the other is softer for color sanding.
