The 3M 950, 1500 Grit, 6" Hookit Gold Finishing Film Discs is designed for use in scuff sanding before painting. Remove runs, dust nibs, and excess orange peel from paint and gelcoat prior to compounding. Machine sand versus hand sanding saves a tremendous amount of time prior to compounding or using very aggressive compounds. Cuts fast, lasts long, resists loading and leaves a consistent finish.

 
Salesman Notes: The 3m 950, 1500 grit velcro attachment is designed to fit a 6" dual action sander. This speeds up the color sanding process dramatically over hand sanding. The finish film backing can be used damp or dry.
