The 3M 2602 Softback Sanding Sponge is a superfine grade that is comparable to 500 to 600 grit. These flexible soft back foam sponges enables user to sand hard-to-reach areas such as headlight openings, around door handles, door jambs, etc. better than traditional wet sanding paper. 

Salesman Note: The 3M 2602 Sanding Sponge works excellent for final sanding primer prior to applying most brands of base-coat. They can also be used for removing runs, sags, and excessive orange peel in clear-coats before re-coating.
