3M 30044 4" Perfect-It Foam Finishing Pad is designed as a combination of traditional compounding pad and polishing pad, eliminating the need for multiple pads and multiple repair steps. Its tapered edge protects the backing pad edge to help reduce damage to the finish while is 4" diameter is excellent for finishing small areas and tight spaces. It works with 3M™ Perfect-It™ 1 Finishing Material, which cuts like a compound but handles like a polish to remove Trizact 3000 or finer scratches for a high gloss finish and minimal swirl marks.
