The 3M 33287, 6 inch Double Sided Wool Compound Pad is designed to be used as a aggressive fast cut compounding pad and when used with 3M 36060, Perfect-It Ex Rubbing Compound it removes as course as 1200 grit finishing abrasive sand scratches and other minor paint defects. 3M 33287 is made with 100% Wool to help eliminate jumping and grabbing on the paint surface giving the user a controlled gliding motion across the paint.

This pad requires the use of the 3M 05752, Quick Connect Adaptor to be used with a 5/8" shaft polisher.

Salesman Notes: I highly recommend using about 1200-1400 RPMs for automotive paint and 1500-2000 RPMs for polishing gel-coat, aluminum, or chrome. Use a 3M 05761 Conditioning Brush to clean the compound residue and other contaminants that get caught up in the wool prior to each use to eliminate the chance of paint damage.
