KBS 150080, Rust Converter

The KBS Rust Converter is designed to convert a rust into a black primer sealer that is ready to prime or paint. Eliminate the need for sandblasting, scraping, grinding, and harsh sanding by applying KBS Rust Converter to rusty surfaces.

KBS Rust Converter Application:

1.  Use sandpaper or a wire brush to remove loose rust from the surface prior to application. 
2. Use KBS Klean to remove any grease, oil, or contaminants. Rinse well and blow or towel dry.
3. Shake Rust Converter for 1 minute after the agitation ball is heard and occasionally during use.
4. Apply 1 medium coat of Rust Converter at a distance of 8-10 inches from the surface. A chemical reaction will cause the rusty surface to turn black. If rust is still seen after 24 hours of dry time.
5. Wait 24 hours before applying another primer or topcoat.
