Klean-Strip EAR2000 Non-Meth Chloride Paint Remover Aerosol professional grade paint stripper is specifically designed to remove 2K automotive coatings including urethanes and tough epoxies. It effectively removes finishes from aluminum , metal and most plastic surfaces. Effective on acrylics, baked enamels, lacquers, polyurethanes and epoxies. VOC Compliant in all states. Always check local regulations.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
1. Mask seams and trim openings. This will prevent bleed-back stripping of the new finish.
2. Shake well. Hold can in an upright position and point the arrow on top of the button away from you. Spray at a distance of approximately 8" to 12" from the surface. To avoid sagging on vertical surfaces, use a back and forth motion to apply a generous, even coat. Apply to one section at a time, up to 3 ft. x 3 ft.
3. Allow the remover to work until the finish is blistered or softened completely, generally within 45 minutes.
4. Remove paint with a flexible plastic scraper then wipe with a damp cloth to remove any residue. Allow the surface to dry before applying a new finish. Prime metal as soon as possible to prevent flash rust.
Note: This product may not be compatible with all surfaces and all conditions surrounding application. Before applying to any surface, always test the product in a small, inconspicuous area to ensure no damage will result. Not recommended for use on fiberglass, plastics, or any other synthetic surfaces. For best results, apply at temperatures between 65ºF and 85ºF, and avoid direct sunlight or strong breezes.
IMPORTANT: Do not use for stripping floors or any place where a flammable remover might be hazardous. Do not use on bathtubs. Protect surrounding areas with a heavy plastic drop cloth. Use over a small area because health and safety risks will increase dramatically when used over large areas. If applying to a vertical surface, begin at the bottom and work up because vapors can accumulate near the floor. CLEAN UP: The work area and tools can be cleaned up with soap and water. Wash arms and hands with cold water and soap
