SEM 39681 Gray Self Etching Primer, Gallon
SEM 39681, Gray Self Etching Primer offers superior adhesion to properly cleaned steel, aluminum, and stainless steel. Gray Self Etching Primer dries quick, is easy to spray, and has excellent coverage and hiding qualities. Works great for spot repairs or overall refinishing. Compatible with most automotive and industrial paint and coating systems on the market today.
SEM 39681 Gray Self Etching Primer Application Specs:
- Shake or Stir before using, Do not Thin
- Preclean surface using SEM 38373 SEM Solve Pre-Cleaner
- Sand Surface to be coated with 320 Grit
- Reclean surface using SEM 38373 SEM Solve Pre-Cleaner
- Coats: 2-3 light coats (apply only enough to achieve hiding)
- Allow 5-10 minutes between coats
- Allow 1 Hour dry time before sanding, priming, or top coating. Sanding is not required if applied within 24 hours
Recommended Air Pressure 8-10 psi at the cap with HVLP equipment 25-30 psi with non-HVLP equipment
