EP2007 Black 2K Epoxy Primer Sealer (Quart)

Achieve professional-grade results with EP2007 Epoxy Primer , a premium 2K Epoxy Sealer formulated for versatility, durability, and performance. EP2007 provides excellent adhesion and Corrosion resistance properties with easy Application making EP2007 2K epoxy primer ideal for ,Bare metal applicaitons providing chemical-resistant barrier that stops rust, moisture and oxygen, and creates a permanent bond on bare metal, aluminum, fiberglass, as well as body filler. 1-2 Coat application, as well as a 1 hour topcoat time help reduce prep time and improving overall efficiency in the refinish process. EP2007 Epoxy Primer is universal with most paint systems on the market today, it especially pairs well with the R&E Automotive Basecoat Paint system.

EP 2007 Black 2K Epoxy Primer Technical Information:

Mix Ratio:
As a Primer Sealer - 1 parts primer to 1 part EA 2010 Activator
Up to 25% TR 1570-1590 Series reducer may be added.

EP2007 Dry Times

Flash Time - 10 to 15 minutes between coats at 70° F
Sand Time - 1 hour minimum at 70° F
Paint Time as a Sealer - 60 minutes minimum (1 Coat) 72 hours maximum at 70° F. After 72 hours EP2001 Must be sanded or scuffed prior to topcoat application.

Sanding Recommendations:

Primer Surfacer

320 - 500 Dry
400 - 600 Wet

Sealer

Sanding not Required but 600 grit may be used to remove imperfections prior to spraying color coat.

Spray Equipment Cleanup:

Clean immediately when finished using Spray Gun Cleaner or Lacquer Thinner.
