The 3D 501, AAT 501 Cutting Compound is formulated with Adaptive Abrasive Technology that is designed to quickly correct P1000 or finer scratches and level any cured or fresh painted surface. 3D 501 Cutting Compound works by resurfacing clear coat or evening the clear coat and will cut quickly without using petroleum products and generating excessive heat. Follow up with 3D 502, AAT 502 Finishing Polish to achieve true paint correction.

How to Apply 3D 501, AAT 501 Cutting Compound:

When applying 3D 501, AAT 501 Cutting Compound use a wool pad or a foam pad on a buffer and set the speed to 1000-1800 rpms. Apply enough Cutting Compound on the pad to work in a 2ft x 2ft area. Buff the surface with slow back and forth, overlapping motions until paint correction is complete and sanding scratches are eliminated. Remove with a clean microfiber cloth and follow up with the 3D 502, AAT 502 Finishing Polish with a Finishing Foam Pad.
