The 3M 2035, 800 Grit, Wet or Dry Sandpaper is a premium, aluminum oxide mineral abrasive sandpaper an improved paper backing, and an optimized construction. Performance advantages: improved rate of cut, increased abrasive life, increased flexibility, and uniform, consistent finish.

Salesman Notes: Wet sandpaper needs to be soaked in water for about 15 minutes prior to use. This helps soften the factory cut edges of the sandpaper and will reduce the chance of cutting grooves in your fresh paint finish. I recommend the use of a foam sanding block such as the following list:

MEG E-7200 -  has just the right amount of flexibility and firmness. 

MGC SB-1 - has 2 sides one is more dense for more aggressive cutting the other is more soft for color sanding.
