Euro Clear Plus, High Solids 2K Urethane Clear Coat

The Euro Clear Plus, High Solids 2K Urethane Clear Coat ECP5000 is an ultra high solids paint that is formulated for use as an overall or single panel repair clear coat. Because Euro Clear Plus is a 50% Solids Clearcoat when ready to spray it offers a superb gloss along with excellent flow and leveling characteristics while resisting sags, shrinkage, and dieback.

Clear Coat Mixing Ratio - 2:1

2 parts ECP5000 to 1 parts SH5000

Urethane Reducer is not required, however, up to 10% may be added if needed.

2 Coats recommended for most applications. However, more coats may be applied for more durability and an outstanding shine. Note: Adding more coats will extend all the following dry times listed below. 

Dry Times based on 70° F and 50% Relative Humidity:

• Flash Time: 5-10 Minutes between the first and second coat. More time is required between each subsequent coat if more than 2 coats are added.
• Dust Free Time: 15-20 Minutes
• Tack Time: 2.5 Hours
• Handle Time: 4 Hours
• Polish Time: 8 Hours
• Tape Time: 8 Hours
• Bake Time: 25 Minutes @ 140° F
• Pot Life: 3 Hours 

Spray Equipment Cleanup: Clean immediately when finished using Spray Gun Cleaner or Lacquer Thinner.
