SprayMax now offers a 2 part (2K) Urethane Aerosol Clear Coat. This SprayMax 2k Clear Coat spray has a much higher U.V. and weather resistance than any standard aerosol clearcoat on the market today. Contrary to standard aerosol paint technology, Spray Max uses an innovative nozzle technology in combination with a new propellant technology. Spray Max offers a higher yield, a faster spray time, and a wider more even spray pattern than your standard conventional aerosol spraycan.

Salesman Notes: The SprayMax 2k Glamour Clear Coat Can works much like a conventional spraygun. It has high transfer efficiency, and great atomization. In my opinion, the SprayMax 2K Urethane Clear Coat is the best clear coat in a spray paint can.

How to Use: First shake for 2 minutes vigorously before activating. 

To activate: Simple take the red button from the cap and attach it to the pin on the bottom of the can. Put the top of the can on stable ground and push the red button firmly and press the pin into the can. Shake again for two minutes to ensure activator is thoroughly mix with clearcoat. After activated, this product will last approximately 24 hours. 

Product Characteristics: SprayMax 2 part Aerosol Clear Coat has excellent adhesion to basecoat and cured lacquer and enamel finishes.

Preparation: Allow basecoat paints at least 30 minutes dry time prior to using the 2K Spray Max Urethane Aerosol Clear Coat. Apply 2-3 coats of aerosol clearcoat. 

How long does 2k clear coat take to dry based on 70° F?

2K Urethane Glamour Clear Coat spray paint needs a minimum of 5-10 minutes of dry time between coats and will be dry to touch in about 1-1/2 hours. After allowing approximately 24 hours dry time, automotive urethane clear coat may been polished by hand or machine.

    Sun heat strips it

    Don’t waste your money. The hot sun baked it and it bubbled and cracked. I followed all of the direction to the letter. Cared for days protected from the sun. Put it out in the driveway for four days and the results couldn’t be any worse.

    Superb finish.

    I have purchased six of these so far for use on my vehicle. I also purchased the top coat from R&E Paint Supply. Really good value for these clear coat cans. Easy to use and a great finish. Highly recommended.

    not a good match

    Used to paint Honda Element with Tango Red Pearly base color. Was not a good match. Lighter, more candy apple color than original paint. Ended up re-doing hood with base coat from a different supplier, which was a perfect match

    For a rattle can, it lays out like glass. No need for wet sand and buff. Good to go with this stuff.

    Unbelievable!

    This clear coat is amazing, just plan to use a whole can within a day or two (it won't last long once mixed). The finish is unreal, absolutely first class. Excellent value too.
