The POR-15 Stainless Steel Detail Paint is a high quality aerosol paint that will restore automotive parts to their original look. Stainless Steel Detail Paint can be used direct-to-metal for a corrosion resistant surface or it can be used over POR-15 Rust Preventative Paint for a impervious rust proof finish.
Treat the surface to be painted using POR-15 Cleaner Degreaser to remove grease, oil, and other contaminants.
Prep the surface with POR-15 Metal Prep then rinse clean with water and allow to dry.
Shake POR-15 41818, Stainless Steel Detail Paint for a minimum of 1 minute prior to application.
Apply 3 light to medium wet coats allowing 15-20 minutes dry time between each coat.
Allow 1-2 hours dry time before handling and 24 hours before installing or stacking parts.
