R&E 2K Matte Clearcoat

R&E Paint Supply now offers a 2-part (2K) Urethane Aerosol Matte Clearcoat. The RE.1065 provides excellent U.V. stability and weather resistance outperforming a traditional, single-stage (1K) aerosol clear coat. Our 2K Matte Clearcoat uses an innovative, fully adjustable nozzle allowing for wide fan patterns for large jobs or small narrow fan patterns for fine detail work. R&E 2K Matte  Clearcoat offers a higher yield, faster spray time and a wider, more even spray pattern than your standard aerosol clear.

• How To Activate 2K Matte  Clearcoat

  1. Remove the cap from the base

  2. Insert metal ring in to lug in the base of the can

  3. Pull down fully on ring and rotate 360° to release activator.

  4. Shake well for 2 minutes

  Once activated the clear coat has a 24hr pot life.

  Application

  Apply in cross-coat pattern

  Apply 2-4 Coats

  Allow 5-10 minutes of dry time between coats. (Depending on temperature)

  2K Matte  Clearcoat will be dry to touch in about 1-1/2 hours. After allowing approximately 24 hours of dry time.

  Note Matte and Satin Clears can not be wet sanded and polished. Spraying defects must be sanded out and re coated with 2K Matte clearcoat.
