The 3M 5974 Rubbing Compound is a medium cutting rubbing compound specially designed for removing grade 1200, 1500, and 2000 color sanding scratches in automotive paints including clearcoats. Produces minimal compound swirl marks while buffing to a high gloss. When followed by the 3M Perfect-It Foam Polishing Pad Glaze, this two step system delivers a show-car luster in record time. For use with 3M 05723, 05721, 05723, 05731, 05734, and 05737 Perfect-It Foam Compounding Pads.  VOC content less than 17%.
